The first day, Jan 27th, was designated to train prospective, new and current members. We covered topics such as phytoplankton identification, sample collection, sample processing, and data entry.
The second day, Jan 28th, was the annual meeting. This day encompassed various presentations about important and relevant plankton work in our community.
Training and refresher workshop for all SoundToxins participants. Members received a refresher course in plankton identification and SoundToxins protocols. There were also updates on Azadinium, ecological forecasting of HABs, and marine biotoxins.
